Contributor Terms & Conditions

By joining the SG Review Lab Contributor Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before registering.

1. Eligibility

To become a contributor, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Have a valid email address for verification
• Reside in a location where participation is legally permitted

2. Review Guidelines

All submitted reviews must:

• Be authentic - Based on your genuine personal experience with the product
• Be original - Written by you and not copied from other sources
• Be honest - Reflect your true opinion, whether positive or negative
• Be respectful - Free from offensive language, personal attacks, or discrimination
• Be relevant - Focus on the product being reviewed

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

• False or misleading information about products
• Reviews for products you have not personally used
• Spam, promotional content, or advertisements
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Personal information of others without consent
• Hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content
• Content that violates any applicable laws

4. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the content you submit. However, by submitting reviews, you grant SG Review Lab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content on our platform, promotional materials, social media, marketing channels, and any future formats or media.

You confirm that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

Contributors acknowledge that no compensation is provided for submitted content unless explicitly agreed to in writing. Participation in the contributor program is voluntary and does not create an employment or contractor relationship.

5. Review Moderation

All reviews are subject to moderation before publication. Submission of a review does not guarantee publication. We reserve the right to:

• Approve, reject, or request revisions to submitted reviews at our discretion
• Edit reviews for clarity, grammar, or formatting (without changing meaning)
• Remove published reviews that violate these terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate guidelines

Moderation decisions are final. We are not obligated to provide reasons for rejection or removal of content.

6. Tier System & Rewards

Our contributor tier system rewards quality contributions. Please note:

• Tier progression is based on approved reviews and engagement
• We reserve the right to modify tier requirements and benefits at any time
• Perks are subject to availability and may change without notice
• Manipulating or attempting to manipulate the tier system, including fake engagement or fraudulent activity, will result in immediate account termination

7. Disclosure Requirements

If you receive free products, payment, or other compensation for a review, you must disclose this clearly in your review in accordance with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws. Failure to disclose material connections is a violation of these terms and may result in legal consequences.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your contributor account at any time for:

• Violation of these terms and conditions
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity
• Extended inactivity (12+ months)
• Other reasons, including but not limited to those listed above

Upon termination, your profile will be deactivated and unpublished reviews will be removed. Published reviews may remain on the platform under the license granted in Section 4.

You may request account termination at any time by contacting us.

9. Limitation of Liability

The contributor program and all related services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

SG Review Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the contributor program, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

We do not guarantee any specific benefits, rewards, publication, or outcomes from your contributions. Participation is at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify contributors of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your participation in the contributor program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
